DATES
Our wedding ceremony will be held on
21/08/2027
But we have access to Colehayes Manor for the entire week between
16/08 – 23/08
Anyone attending the wedding will be able to come and go as they please, but please let us know whether you’d like a bed reserved.
Accommodation
Guest beds are all free to everyone for the whole week, but we have a pay-as-you-feel policy.
Funds will go towards making the week as great as it can be, helping some Australians with their plane tickets, and donating back to Rebecca and Colehayes.
In the week leading up to the wedding, we'll be hosting some events at the manor. Everyone is welcome to attend, or enjoy a holiday on the grounds.
The more the merrier; we’d love for you to stay over the week if you can. There'll be a bar on some nights, but you're welcome to BYO drinks.
Most are shared rooms; we'll try to allocate appropriately and reach out if required. The RSVP has a section for special requests.
Check-in: 3pm - Monday 16/08
Check-out: 10am - Monday 23/08.
Dress code
It'll be a masquerade-themed wedding with an art deco aesthetic. If you've any masks, please bring them.
Airport transport
For those traveling from Australia/overseas, we'll be able to arrange lifts from London/Bristol airports, or we can collect you from the coach stop down the road. We will organise this with you personally.
Get involved
If you have a skill you would like to share with us for the wedding, be it performance, photography, music, etc., please let us know on the RSVP or Suggestion page!
Links
We also ask that everyone join the link to our Google Photos album and upload any pictures you took at our wedding to it so that we can look through them all and keep them in our scrapbook! We will share the link closer to the time.
Get To Know Us

James Woollacott

Jack Slater

James - Written by Jack
What can I say about James that you don't already know? I think the thing he would like most for me to write in this section about him is that he owns his own business and hasn't worked a single day for an employer since coming to Australia. He designed the wedding invites and the website all on his own. That's probably what he would want me to write anyway.
James is an exceptionally caring, sensitive person who gets barely any recognition for the lengths he goes to for other people. James has done a hell of a lot more for me than I have for him, and I don't know where I would be now without him. I had two dogs when I met James, and he took them completely under his wing, not complaining about Evie's immense medical costs and still giving Silas belly pats upon his request - they're now our dogs instead of just mine. I'm incredibly proud of the life that we have built, and I am really excited for what the future will continue to bring for us.
I suppose I could also create a list here of the things that James enjoys that you could talk to him about, which I would think most of you already know by now:
- Prometheus, and its statements on the human condition and creationism
- Finding a single quirky thing a person does and never letting them forget they do it (in an endearing way)
- Any kind of body horror in a movie
- Being told he is handsome, successful, or clever (because he is)
- Playing Hollow Knight
- Completing a hitless Absolute Radiance
Jack - Written by James
For those of you who know me, you must already know the kind of person I’d eventually marry: Excitable, energetic, loud, and obsessed with horror movies… Jack is none of these things [sober] (she even likes horror movies when not sober for some reason).
What she is, however, is one of the kindest and most caring people I’ve ever met. Despite constantly arguing about the actual existence of altruism, a mantra that Jack very much fosters, is doing things because it's either kind or simply the right thing to do. Although she may take it a bit too far at times (like mentioning when a strip of recyclable food packaging makes its way into general waste) Jack inspires me to be the best human being I can be because she sets the bar so high, and simply put, I like to win.
When we have a friend in need of a place to stay, the conversation is rarely a question because we know each other, and we know that if it’s the right thing to do and we’re able to do it, that’s what’s going to happen.
My most treasured lesson from Jack is that she taught me I didn’t need to become a normal person in my thirties. Jack inspired me to get back to being comfortable in my own skin: Continuing to tattoo myself from head to toe, ignoring those who tell me mullets aren’t cool, and cutting the sleeves off my t-shirts to make them more badass. Without her, I probably wouldn’t feel like myself.
Jack enjoys quiet, relaxing evenings and anything that can be described as “cozy”. She likes coloured lights, weird books by Kafka & Murakami, chill, ambient music, and repetitive games that she can play for hours on end like Slay the Spire. She’s definitely the nerdier of the two of us, which makes me feel great because it means I’m cool by comparison.

If you want to bond with Jack, talk to her about:
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Magic the Gathering
- Board games
- Slay The Spire
- Chill, ambient music
- Books (the weirder, the better)
- Dead animals and taxidermy
- Her work in RSPCA & animal care
- Carbs

And what a body!
